About our museum

The site is open to the public following official opening hours of Turkish museums (8:30-17, closed on Mondays). The mound has specifically built paths for tourists and an audio guide system (sponsored by Anadolu Efes). Visitors cannot wonder around the mound, but must keep to these paths and be accompanied at all times. The monumental area is roofed and there too visitors have to follow rigorous pathway so to protect the architectural structures.
